Site Update and Pending Move…

Alright, I knew I would lose information for a screw up I did earlier this year, as I had updated servers then and now again… and now I see things were set back to last March here in THHN and back to July 2010 for the Gallery.

All the pictures and articles are gone from most of last year, but don’t worry too much as I was going to transfer over to the main new address. I had some things planned and was working on them, that’s the reason for the unexplained hiatus. But since I haven’t checked those plans yet since the update, chances are I’ll probably be starting from scratch again.

So, starting sometime in the first week of February the updated news site will be the place for all the newest pages and articles, including the ones that are gone. I just gotta tighten up a few things over there and see if it will work out by then but I suspect everything over there’ll be alright.

Anyways, sorry for the long delay again and check the other site for updates from now on.

The Losers Poster, Stills and Two TV Spots

A new poster is now available for The Losers, along with two new stills and just for the fun of posting, also the Two TV Spots that have been released within the last couple of weeks. There isn’t anything new yet over at the Official Site, except the release date and still the only thing up over there is the trailer that was released late January. ‘Tis cool though, I have to say this movie certainly does look interesting and I do love watching comicbook films.

The Losers is an explosive tale of double cross and revenge and centers upon the members of an elite U.S. Special Forces unit sent into the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. The team–Clay, Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar–find themselves the target of a lethal betrayal instigated from inside by a powerful enemy known only as Max. Presumed dead, the group makes plans to even the score when they’re joined by the mysterious Aisha, a beautiful operative with her own agenda. Working together, they must remain deep undercover while tracking the heavily-guarded Max, a ruthless man bent on embroiling the world in a new high-tech global war. The Losers stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Columbus Short, Jason Patric and Oscar Jaenada, directed by Sylvain White with Warner Bros. distributing and will be in theatres April 23, 2010.

Quick Update for Ralph Fiennes ‘Coriolanus’

As Coriolanus production is gearing up for filming, principal photography is set to begin on March 14, 2010 in Belgrade Serbia and some more cast members have been added to the cast. Actors Dragan Micanovic, Marko Zivic, Danijela Vranjes, Slavko Stimac, and Slobodan “Boda” Ninkovic will be playing alongside Ralph Fiennes, Gerard Butler, Vanessa Redgrave, Jessica Chastain and Brian Cox.

The Budget for Coriolanus is $20M with an addition $4M allocated for the shoot in Serbia. The Production is currently in negotiations to shoot in the Serbia Parliament Building for some key scenes and the technical requirements for this to happen still have to be filled, the production will be forwarding information and should know if this will happen in a couple of days.

Coriolanus is a contemporary version of Shakespeare’s dangerous political thriller. The citizens of Rome are hungry. Coriolanus, the hero of Rome, a great soldier and a man of inflexible self-belief despises the people. His extreme views ignite a mass riot. Rome is bloody. Manipulated and out-manoeuvred by politicians and even his own mother Volumnia, Coriolanus is banished from Rome. He offers his life or his services to his sworn enemy Tullus Aufidius. Coriolanus and Aufidius march on Rome intending to destroy the city. Volumnia appeals to her son. He tries to reject her but eventually breaks. Aufidius, feeling bitterly betrayed, brutally murders Coriolanus. Starring Ralph Fiennes, Gerard Butler, Vanessa Redgrave, Brian Cox, Eddie Marsan, Jessica Chastain, directed by Ralph Fiennes and will be in theatres sometime in 2011.

Update for Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine 2

Over at The Hollywood Reporter’s ShowBiz 411, they’ve have a quick update on Wolverine 2 and the news is good. Christopher McQuarrie has completed the script that he began last August, so it looks like Hugh Jackman will be wearing his claws again January 2011 and this movie will be filming in Japan. Currently no Director is attached to the project yet and the story is to be based on the comicbook cycle from Frank Miller and Chris Claremont. Could this be the much anticipated love story of Mariko that everyone wants to see? ;) I’m already looking forward to this movie.

Seed Productions and Fox 2000 get ‘Icarceron’

Fox 2000 and Seed Productions have won a bidding war for film rights on adapting Catherine Fisher’s children’s novel, Icarceron. Seed Prods Exec, Allan Mandelbaum, had brought this to project Fox and Fox 2000’s Rodney Farrell flew out to London and closed the deal with Fisher’s reps. As this is project is still in the announced stage, it’s being fast-tracked and the project is going out to directors and writers.

“Incarceron” tells the story of a young boy who lives in a prison that is a complete society; outside the prison, the world is stuck in the 17th century and run by computers. The boy comes into contact with the warden’s daughter, who lives in her own sort of jail, and they find a key that can change everything. Producing this film is Seed Productions, John Palermo.

It’s good to know how that there are lessons on Dragon training. DreamWorks has released 6 Dragon Training Lessons over the past couple of weeks and they are quite humorous, also and once again Craig Ferguson does voice-overs for these quick clips.

How to Train Your Dragon centres around a Viking teenager, who lives on the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. Initiation is coming, and this is his one chance to prove his his worthiness to his tribe and father. But when he encounters, and ultimately befriends an injured dragon his world is turned upside down. Starring the voices of Gerard Butler, America Fererra, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Christopher Mintze-Plasse and Craig Ferguson and is directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois with DreamWorks distributing. How to Train Your Dragon will be in theatres March 26, 2010.

I know, the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games are practically done, but I’m finally starting to write articles again instead of posting pictures. And I remember when it was announced not too long ago that NBC will be featuring the How to Train Your Dragon Olympic Vignettes during the opening ceremony. After they appeared on TV, DreamWorks Animation had posted them online. So, here are the Olympic Vignettes and you know, they’re pretty good and I had a good laugh watching them, plus Craig Ferguson did a great job voicing the commercials.

A Quick Update for the ‘Untitled Peter Farrelly/Charles Wessler Project’

Sean William Scott has been doing the rounds of interview for his new film, Cop Out. During one of his interviews, he was asked by Moviehole about upcoming projects and he gives a brief discussion on the “Untitled Peter Farrelly/Charles Wessler Project“, his working with Gerard Butler and discusses who else is in the film, like Hugh Jackman. Also, could the project name be ‘Case 49‘? Guess we’ll have to wait and see for the official announcement.

Q: I heard someone surprising enjoyed ‘Mr Woodcock’ (2007).

Seann: Do you know who did? Gerard Butler. I worked with him just now, with Brett Ratner and (Johnny) Knoxville, it’s a cool movie with all these awesome actors, all short films and I was so excited to meet him, I love that cat.

Q: What was the title?

Seann: Our is called �Happy Birthday‘. And I think Daniel Craig is doing one, Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslett are doing one. I think the whole thing is called �Case 49‘, or something. I’m not sure. But he (Gerard Butler) saw �Woodcock‘, he thanked me for it! He goes, and Johnny Knoxville was there and Butler goes, ‘I just want to say I saw Woodcock last week, thank you for that it was really funny’. And I’m like, What?! You’re the only person I’ve ever met that liked that movie, other than my mom!

Quad Poster for Russell Crowe’s ‘Robin Hood’

A few days ago, the UK Quad Poster for Robin Hood appeared online. It’s very similar to the Teaser Poster that’s been available since around Christmas and there really hasn’t been too many stills yet and there’s only one trailer for this movie so far. But you know, I’m looking forward to seeing this movie, love watching Russell Crowe ever since seeing him in Gladiator and he was awesome in 3:10 to Yuma. Plus this movie has Mark Strong in it, he was absolutely great in StarDust, IMO, still has one of the best sword fighting scenes in it.

Anyways, here’s the Quad Poster and you can look at the other Stills over at the Photo Galleries. Robin Hood chronicles the life of an expert archer, previously interested only in self-preservation, from his service in King Richard’s army against the French. Upon Richard’s death, Robin travels to Nottingham, a town suffering from the corruption of a despotic sheriff and crippling taxation, where he falls for the spirited widow Lady Marion, a woman skeptical of the identity and motivations of this crusader from the forest. Hoping to earn the hand of Maid Marion and salvage the village, Robin assembles a gang whose lethal mercenary skills are matched only by its appetite for life. Together, they begin preying on the indulgent upper class to correct injustices under the sheriff. Robin Hood stars Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Mark Strong, William Hurt, Danny Houston, Kevin Durand, Mark Addy and Max von Sydow with Ridley Scott directing and Universal Pictures distributing. Robin Hood will be in theatres May 14, 2010.

The Bounty Hunter catches more Stills and Two TV Spots

It seems lately all I’m doing is adding pictures to the photo galleries. Well, to be honest, it’s my fault that’s all I’m doing, even with so much news that need to be posted and is getting backlogged… I so regret deleting most my galleries here in this blog in a fit of rage, it’s taking quite a bit of time to re-sort through all the pictures and repost them in the gallery and still only about a 1/4 have been posted. And I still can’t remember what I did to keep people from right clicking here, I’m trying to disable it also like it has been done in the Gallery. But while I’m doing the reposting of pictures, I’m still adding new pictures, like these latest ones for The Bounty Hunter, and below the stills are two TV spots.

Well, they are pretty decent. The 7th still at first glance made me laugh and now everytime I see it, I chuckle. I know, bad. Anyways, there are 7 new production stills and 3 on-set photos but we still need to see a few pictures with Christine Baranski, Jason Sudeikis and Dorian Missick before the film opens next month. Right, and the Film Premiere’s for this movie aren’t too far away, The World Premiere is set for London, England on March 11, 2010 at Vue West End and the U.S. Premiere is on March 16, 2010 at Ziegfeld Theatre, New York, NY.

The Bounty Hunter is about Milo Boyd (Gerard Butler), a down-on-his-luck bounty hunter, gets his dream job when he is assigned to track down his bail-jumping ex-wife, reporter Nicole Hurly (Jennifer Aniston). He thinks all that’s ahead is an easy payday, but when Nicole gives him the slip so she can chase a lead on a murder cover-up. Milo realizes that nothing ever goes simply with him and Nicole. The exes continually one-up each other – until they find themselves on the run for their lives. Starring Gerard Butler, Jennifer Aniston, Christine Baranski, Jason Sudeikis and Dorian Missick with Andy Tennant directing and Columbia Pictures distributing. The Bounty Hunter will be in theatres March 19, 2010.
