Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie and Brian Geraghty will topline Kathryn Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker with Ralph Fiennes and Guy Pearce having cameos in the film. This Iraq War drama is written by Mark Boal and inspired by true events from recently declassified information, Locker follows an elite Army Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team in present-day Baghdad that fights an onslaught of bombs and snipers. Renner will play the leader of the team with Mackie and Geraghty members, Fiennes will be a mercenary and Pearce another member. Bigelow and Boal along with Nicolas Chartier and Greg Shapiro are producing and is a Voltage Picture/First Light/Kingsgate Films production.
