Why THHN? 

One night about a year and half ago while suffering from a long bout of insomnia and talking with Jarrod (crazy editor at Mania.com), THHN was founded and somewhat maintained on an irregular basis.  Yeah, sometimes things happen outside the control of my online life causes me to step away from the computer and do real life stuff. 

What makes THHN Special?

Nothing in particular, except the hot guys who make films.  Where else can you go and just have guy films???  I know, just about everywhere else but here you’ll find some great pics.  BTW, did I mention hot guys??

Who are the actors?

Well, I follow alot of movie news, I mean lots and lots.  So much that I spend more time reading and not posting enough.  Currently I post about Pierce Brosnan, Gerard Butler, Colin Farrell and Hugh Jackman, plus other movies I really like following.

Why aren’t there more movie pages?

Because of my laziness and lack of time and still trying to figure out php language, there are pages that are almost complete but not ready to be revealed.  Yes, there are pages for the above actors that can’t be viewed yet cause they’re still too messy.

Why not follow more actors?

There will be more actor profile pages, still working on the ones above but I’m open to having people email me and let me know who else should have more film news coverage.  I’ll respond, but I’m lazy, I might not email straight away back to you.

Why not regular updates?

I have been working on the site.  Really I have.  Though it just looks like I haven’t.  Plus I’m lazy, I do post news everywhere else but on my front page, I promise to do better and post things.  And once I figure out how to change the look here and at the Gallery, it’ll be even more regular postings.

Why a blog?

Yes, I do have a My Space page, though I do visit it every other day, it just seemed a good idea to have a blogspot here.  I know, I’m crazy and lazy but it did seem like a great idea at the time.  I have to learn php to change the format here.  It’ll look good one day, I just know it, plus I may even talk about other stuff while blogging too.

Gallery?

Yes, I downloaded Coppermine Photo Gallery and adding pics slowly too.  Need to change the format there too, but all the pics will be in one place instead of scattering all over the place.  Need more pics of actors, not just movie related, didn’t realize I had so few.

Is this a fansite?

Yes.  It’s a movie news fansite, THHN isn’t affiliated in anyway to the actors, production companies or studios mentioned on this site.  We have a disclaimer on the bottom of the Main website pages.  And once I figure out how to add it to the blog, it’ll be on the bottom of each page here too.

Wait, not an Actor’s Fansite?

No, most actor fansites cover a whole lot more than just their professional careers, it means following the papparazzi frenzy and posting every article, blog, news item and sighting on the net or in magazines.

Wait, isn’t this what THHN does?

Yes, to a certain degree, as long as it’s movie related.  Articles that mention personal lives or gossip does sometimes have movie news in them.  If there there’s good info, the movie news will get posted and a link to the original source that has the other info will be posted too.

Reviews?

Yes, there is a review page but it’s not being used, too busy trying to learn php language to sit and write about the all the movies and dvds seen this year.  And yes, I do watch alot of movies and DVDs, you won’t get a Blu-ray Review here at this site cause I haven’t gotten around to buying one yet.  Reviews on all the movies seen this year should start appearing late October or November 2008.  First movie will probably 10,000 BC cause that’s the first one I remember actually watching this year.

Franchise page?

Yes, it’s like the actors page, update TBA.

Why aren’t updates more frequent?

I’m just one person writing everything, not a major news outlet, there is no advertising here so I’m the only staff member.  Please be patient, it’ll all get updated even if it’s days later than the announcement.

email me.  There are 5 email addresses, and yes crazy I know, but it’s to make it harder for all the porno related emails from reaching me.  SPAM emails not welcome either, it’s a waste of my time deleting it all.
